Welcome to Janice Rose's website!  Janice has a passion and ardor for poetry that is reflected in her writings, teachings, and performances of her work.

Married for forty-five years to the same man (he thinks he's earned Sainthood), she is the mother of two grown children and five perfect grandchildren. Janice is a past publisher of the poetry anthology, The Poets' Gallery, and creator of the Dallas group, "Poets First". 

Janice has performed and read her award-winning poetry in several bookstores and in club venues throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.  She has taught beginner-intermediate writing to students of all ages and has led poetry and monologue-writing workshops.  Her work has appeared in a number of small press publications and literary journals.  Janice's poetic themes often deal with memoir-imagery, wry and serious observations of life.

Not a stitch of clothing on.
